Christian concert to debut the day of graduation

During the season of graduations and graduation parties, Outside the Walls, a Christian concert, will make its debut in town.
The concert will highlight a wide range of acts from gospel, rock, rap, and traditional hymns. The seven artist line-up will include, The Jeff Peters Band, High Seas Adventure, The Warriors, Holy Authority, Tre9, Ahmadd, and Peculiar Image.
High Seas Adventure and The Jeff Peters band are local Christian bands that include men from all walks of life that have come together to worship. High Seas Adventure is an infusion of aggressive indie rock with faith based lyrics. The Jeff Peters band is contemporary rock with an upbeat tempo and message. Ahmadd, Tre9 The Farmer, The Warriors, Holy Authority, and Peculiar Image all are rappers ranging from local acts to nationally known names with one connection: worshipping God through their musical talents.
"Outside of the church walls are where God has called us, and outside we'll be," said Wes Watkins, one of the men heading the event.
Outside the Walls is calling all Christians to be a part of this event. The people behind Outside the Walls hope that the collage of Christian artists ranging from praise and worship, Christian rock and Christian rap will reach a broad range of citizens in San Angelo.
The concert will be held at 306 S. Chadbourne on the Concho River on Saturday, May 16 from 4-8 p.m.
