Students encouraged to raise voices against ASU price increases

Price gouging is a staple, not only at ASU, but among universities across the nation. None are immune to the greedy, almost charlatan-like ways of scrounging up an extra nickel here and there. Whether it be the outrageous price of books, cokes at the UC, or $90 to park, (what is this, New York City?) we've all experienced it.

Little time left to rekindle fire

Embarrassing confession: I enjoy watching the show Greek. Perhaps this guilty pleasure wouldn't be as embarrassing if I didn't learn something from it, but I have, and I can't stop thinking about it. The show, highlighting the college life, obviously focused on the Greek life, has hit home for me.

Texas goes after blog commenters

Austin Police Chief Art Aceved is tired of the internet, specifically when people pretend to be him. Bloggers have been signing up on forums under Aceved's name and have been posting sexual, and violent comments about what he "does each day." Aceved has had enough and plans to persecute and prosecute these bloggers.
