"I can't even describe it; I am still taking it all in. Just seeing these guys jump up and down on the sideline and these fans is awesome.

The soccer team suffered its first loss in seven games Friday, dropping a double overtime loss to rival Abilene Christian University. The Lone Star Conference opener for both teams would mark only their third meeting, with ACU leading the series 2-1. However, the young rivalry showed sparks of intensifying, no different than in any other sport here at ASU.

The Rambelles volleyball team (9-7, 1-2 LSC) succumbed to rival Abilene Christian University (11-4, 2-1) in straight sets Sept. 24 in Abilene. "We started off really pumped up before the Abilene game, but seemed to lose some of that energy as the game went on," freshman Chelsea Gibson said.
